Sorouh Real Estate, Platinum Sponsor of first time ever Cityscape Abu Dhabi 2007 Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, May 6, 2007: Abu Dhabi’s leading real estate developer, Sorouh Real Estate, announced it is the sole sponsor of the Sorouh Cityscape Abu Dhabi Golf Classic tournament, to be held at the Abu Dhabi National Golf Course on May 7, 2007. The tournament is expected to attract VIPs from the real estate industry who will compete on the carefully preserved 18-hole, par 72, 7,204-yard National Course. “We are thrilled for the arrival of Cityscape in Abu Dhabi our home city and we decided to support it with a Platinum sponsorship,” commented Mounir Haidar, Sorouh Real Estate CEO. “The Capital is embarking on a number of extraordinary projects and this will be the perfect showcase for them.” “The glamorous addition of the Sorouh Cityscape Golf Classic will offer us an additional opportunity to build relationships with other leading figures from the industry in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere before the start of the exhibition,” added Haidar. The Sorouh Cityscape Golf Classic will also coincide with the new development attached to the Abu Dhabi Golf Club, the Golf Gardens. This flagship AED 800 million project is already in phase one, and will be the first commercial venture in Abu Dhabi to combine golf and real estate. This will allow golf lovers to be close to the game at all times. “We are really excited about this competition and we hope it will become a recurring date in Abu Dhabi’s social calendar,” said Haidar. “As a further incentive, there are prizes for the first three two-player teams, individual prizes for the six on-course competitions as well as the two pre-tournament competitions.
