His last assignment was with Hilton Hotels Corporation as Vice President Managed Development for the Western Region and Canada, where he was responsible for growing Hilton full-service and luxury hotels in this region, primarily through management contracts.

Malhotra joins Sorouh at a time when the company is in a state of aggressive expansion and has a number of hotels, marina and other leisure developments planned to be launched in the coming years.

Commenting on Malhotra's appointment, Mr. Singh added: "From his extensive experience and diversified capacities, Malhotra will strategize and implement Sorouh's operational strategy, and align it with the overall brand vision."

Malhotra will be responsible for overseeing the development, branding initiatives, and operator selection for Sorouh's hotel and leisure portfolio. "I am eager to take on my new role and spearhead Sorouh's extensive development plans in the hospitality sector.
