Abu Dhabi: The Federal Cabinet on Sunday passed a draft law concerning national centre for documents and research.

Presided over by His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, the Council of Minister discussed recommendations put forward by the Federal National Council (FNC) on general policies of the Ministry of Health.

The Cabinet gave its nod for drafting a federal bill on regulation of pharmaceutical products, profession and firms.

A number of agreements and memorandum of understanding signed by the UAE with other sisterly and friendly countries on economic, commercial and technological cooperation were also approved during the meeting.

The Cabinet also gave its consent to the budget of the marriage fund for the fiscal year 2008.
