An Enlightening Story
It all started with the first ever development project for ALDAR Real Estate Services LLC, a 100% locally held private company formed in May 2000 that was assigned the task of redeveloping Al Jimi Mall, in conjunction with the Al Ain Municipality & Town Planning Department. This development was awarded a certificate of merit by the prestigious International Council of Shopping Centres (ICSC) in May 2002 and stands as a role model for public - private partnership transactions in the UAE.
ALDAR Properties PJSC was established more recently, in December 2004, through an AED 1.5 billion share offer (IPO) on the Abu Dhabi Securities Market (ADSM). Following the IPO, ALDAR acquired ADDAR Real Estate Services LLC.
A Sparkling Success
Al Jimi Mall has been an outstanding success story since the day it opened. Working in close harmony with the local authorities, ALDAR created a destination of choice for the residents of Al Ain.
