| Ajman International Airport is to be built at a cost of around $3.3bn by 2011 on a site covering 60m sqft, reported Gulf News. The new facility will focus 65% of its operations on cargo flights, with the remainder being passenger services. The first phase, set to take 18 months to build, will include the main terminal buildings, the runway, an aviation school, workshops, a free zone and 90 commercial towers. |
