Al Ain Industrial City becomes operational: The
first phase of Al Ain Industrial City in the emirate of Abu Dhabi has
become operational. This special zone is expected to play a major role
in developing vital sectors of strategic importance in UAE, besides
raising the real estate value of adjoining areas, including outer
boundaries of Dubai.
Al Ain Industrial City was conceived and
developed by ZonesCorp, the higher corporation for specialized economic
zones in the UAE. Launched in early 2006, the Al Ain Industrial City
project marks the first expansion of the industrial landscape from Abu
Dhabi to the eastern region, as conceived by the Zonescorp.
The
zone is expected to attract local and global firms on the lookout for
establishing industrial units in the UAE. With ultramodern
infrastructure and amenities, Al Ain Industrial City will have a strong
impact on the industrial development of Abu Dhabi.
