Amlak to discuss job cuts, merger at board meeting

amlak finance has announced that it will consider job cuts at its board meeting on jan 31. the dubai-based mortgage lender, whose shares have been suspended since the announcement in november that it will merge with tamweel, said its board will also discuss the merger proceedings, real-estate investments and earnings for 2008, the company said in a statement today.
