ADEC
had recently signed an MoU with the Ministry of Education (MoE) to
transfer the supervision of ADEZ from the ministry to the ADEC.
Director-General
of ADEC Mubarak Al Shamsi told Khaleej Times that the joint initiative
aims at improving the quality of the education process in the emirate.
“The
ADEZ would serve as a service centre to provide all the required
services and help to the schools, students, teachers and parents. We
aim to activate the interaction and communication between the schools
and the ADEZ to implement the new plans and training to improve the
teachers’ skills and introduce the new teaching methods at the
schools,” added Al Shamsi.
The
ADEZ will also follow up the education process at the schools.
Moreover, the administrative staff of the ADEZ would focus more on the
schools field.
Al
Shamsi met the administrators of the schools in the capital last week
to inform them of the new developments regarding the transformation.
Meanwhile,
ADEZ Director Mohammad Salim Al Dhahiri said “The education development
needs a partnership between the authorities concerned and the parents.”
“Hence, they are responsible to inform the ADEZ on any violations at the schools,” he added.
