Curtain falls on Dubai Shopping Festival 2008 |

The month-long Dubai Shopping Festival 2008 that
commenced in January concluded on February 24, 2008. The day’s
celebrations marked the end of non-stop festivities that lasted 32 days
this year.
The closing week of DSF 2008 saw the unfolding of
Guinness World Records events on February 21, which provided three days
of record-breaking spectacle. The week also witnessed a dazzling Flying
Arts Show in which ex-Cirque du Soleil members performed gravity
defying stunts. The Global Village, the hub of all DSF activities was
packed on the final day with bargain-hunters and frenetic shoppers on
the lookout for great packages. Open since December 13, 2007, Global
Village will be operational till March 1, 2008.
