Dubai real estate sales peak at Dh2.28 billion

The real estate sales in Dubai during the week peaked at Dh2.28 billion, according to Dubai Land Department. Property transactions include land, villa and apartment sales on Feb 17, 18, 19 and 20, 2008.

The total value of plot sale deals was the highest on Wednesday, Feb 20, 2008. The amount transacted during the day was approximately Dh1.13 million.

The total value of land sales during the period was Dh2.17 billion, while apartments recorded a total sale of Dh98.2 million and villas Dh9.5 million. The highest land sale was recorded at Emirates Hills First (Dh380 million) followed by Al Hamriya (Dh350 million). The combined value of mortgages during Feb 19 and 20 was Dh998.07 million.
