mr. yusuf fakhruddin said of his company's participation in cityscape dubai 2008:
'cityscape dubai is an excellent platform for
introducing the company's real estate activities, not only on the local
level, but also on the international level. we have made full use of
the opportunities presented to us in our previous participations in
cityscape, establishing relations with new international companies,
showcasing a package of fakhruddin properties' projects and listening
carefully to the remarks and opinions expressed by property market
experts. participation in cityscape has also been valuable in terms of
familiarizing ourselves with the latest trends and practices in modern
architecture. we have drawn a lot from others' experiences as well as
our own in terms of the challenges faced in the fields of architectural
development and the development of supporting sectors, such as the
contracting and other logistical support sectors.'
cityscape dubai is considered the benchmark for real estate exhibitions
in the region, having achieved exponential growth within only a few
years. in 2003, only 60 companies from 27 countries participated in the
exhibition. in 2004 the number of companies participating doubled. this
number more than doubled in 2005, with 300 exhibitors from 85 countries
taking part in the exhibition. by 2006 the number of exhibitors grew to
600 and, in 2007, there were 800 participants from 120 countries at the
exhibition, which now takes up as much as 70,000 square meters at the
dubai international exhibition and convention centre, in which to
accommodate the hundreds of exhibitors participating in the event.
