Nakheel launches Badrah Waterfront properties

Nakheel today unveiled Badrah, its latest district on the Waterfront in Dubai. The second Waterfront residential district to be announced, Nakheel claims it will provide 45,000 affordable homes for people. It is located along the Sheikh Zayed Road, borders Jebel Ali Free Zone and be close to Dubai’s new international airport. Split into four areas, each is connected by a central boulevard. Diaa will be mainly residential buildings and amenities, Talla will have a larger mix of offices; Manara includes educational and civic amenities and Bahaa will be the retail and entertainment area. Sales will start on 25 May, with just over 1,000 apartments and townhouses available. Handover is expected to take place at the end of 2009.
