Nakheel to invest US$817 million in Dubai retail space

UAE. Nakheel plans to invest AED 3 billion (US$817 million) by 2012 to develop retail space in its home market of Dubai, Emirates Business 24/7 reported, citing a company director.

The state-owned company plans to develop 13 million square feet of retail space in the Gulf Emirate, the newspaper reported, citing Graham Dreverman.
