Saudi firm wins Emaar contract

Emaar, The Economic City, developer of King Abdullah Economic City, has awarded a development contract worth 115m Saudi riyals ($30m) to Saudi-based CEMCCO to undertake the infrastructural work within the mega-project's Industrial Zone. The contract covers the utilities work over 1.58 million square metres. The work is part of the first phase development of the Industrial Zone, which will eventually have an area of 63 million square metres of land dedicated to industrial and light manufacturing facilities.
