Sungwon wins Dubai tower deal

South Korean construction firm Sungwon Corporation has received a Dhs400m ($109m) contract to build a tower in the Business Bay area of Dubai, reported Gulf News. The 34-storey office tower is being developed by German investment company Trend Capital. Sungwon Middle East operations head Chang-Pyo Park said construction work on the Silver Tower will commence in May and the project is expected to be completed in 2010.
