Ajman - February 11, 2008: Ajman based mega project, Emirates City, is
seeing significant progress in the development of its ground works with
Tech Group playing a key role in the project. Tech Group, the umbrella
company for its subsidiaries, Construction Tech, Remix Tech, Aluglass
Tech, Block Tech and Piling Tech, to name a few, has announced that it
has completed a substantial amount of one of Ajman's leading mega
projects.
Part of a range of projects currently under development and which have
been designed to expand and augment the economic advancement of Ajman,
the Emirates City is being built at a cost of AED 15 billion. The
recently established umbrella organization, Tech Group, which is
overseeing the progress of the various Tech subsidiaries, has noted
that over AED 1 billion worth of essential work has been completed so
far.
With Block Tech, one of the fastest growing concrete manufactures in
the UAE making a significant contribution to Emirates City's
development, it sister companies are also making noteworthy
contributions to the completion of the project. With the aid of 5
batching plants which produce 400 cubic meters of concrete per hour,
Remix Tech has supplied concrete to most of the project's towers at a
value of AED 38 million thus far. Meanwhile, Construction Tech has been
commissioned to develop 3 towers, named the Paradise Lakes Towers -
worth AED 250 million - while Piling Tech has completed AED 500 million
worth of projects in the city so far, in terms of piling and
foundation.
Speaking on the important role that Tech Group is playing in the
development of Emirates City, its CEO Ali Ghalib Jaber said, "The
Emirates City is one of the most important projects being developed,
not only in Ajman, but in the UAE. For this complex scheme to be a
success, the organizations involved in its development have to be the
most excellent and reputable, capable of delivering quality work
according to a specified schedule."

The Emirates City is located at just a 20 minute drive from Dubai
International Airport and sits directly on the Emirates Road, which is
strategically linked to the other emirates of Ras Al Khaimah, Umm Al
Quwain, Sharjah, Dubai and Abu Dhabi. The project consists of over 90
residential and commercial properties and will include picturesque
lakes and green parks, a shopping district, mosques, five star hotels,
and educational and medical facilities.
