Logistics City serves every transport mode, logistics need and
value-adding operation in the supply chain, including manufacturing and
assembly, all within a single-bond, free zone environment.
With a capacity to turnover 12 million tons of air cargo annually,
DLC is strategically located on the apron of the new Dubai World
Central International Airport and adjacent to one of the world's
largest container handlers, Jebel Ali Port and Free Zone.
To ensure ongoing quality and continuity on site, DLC will also have
its own Labour Village set in landscaped surroundings with sports and
leisure facilities, restaurants, shops and service centres. The
accommodation will be available for lease on an apartment, floor or
block basis and will set new standards in staff accommodation.
DLC will be operational at the end of 2007.
