International Media Production Zone (IMPZ) is the first Free Zone in
the Middle East, dedicated to media production activities. It provides

community infrastructure to support and foster the growth of media

Spread over 43

The International Media Production Zone (IMPZ) is the first Free

Companies joining IMPZ can avail of 100 per cent ownership and will be exempt from almost all corporate and personal taxes
including those for machinery, equipment, raw materials and spares
utilised by the industry. Furthermore, rules governing media production
have been simplified to facilitate maximum ease of operations.
At
IMPZ, each unit will act as a complete facility for production
operations with provisions for loading and unloading raw materials and
finished goods; thermally-insulated production units will be available
on an annual rental basis. Printing companies also have the option of
taking multiple units or having a combination of both land and
production units.
IMPZ Residential Zone
The
IMPZ offers various kinds of residential accommodation. These include
one and two-bedroom apartments set amidst landscaped lawns. The
buildings in IMPZ have used high-quality material and reflect the
latest architectural styles and innovative construction practices.
Residential facilities within this media free zone span internal
transportation, medical centre, schools, parks, retail outlets and
hotels. Other amenities include amphitheatre, entertainment and
recreational utilities, sports grounds, state-of-the-art fitness clubs,
swimming pools and 24X7 security.

The IMPZ will come up on 35 million square feet of
green field land along Emirates Road. It will be located close to Global
Village and International City. Dubai International Airport is a 15-minute
drive away. Emirates Road traverses across the seven emirates, linking
each through a modern transportation network. iMPZ is ideally located
close to Dubai's booming economy, the new residential clusters and free
zone districts including Business Bay. Also in the vicinity is the USD
multi-billion tourism, leisure, residential and retail development of
Dubailand with its influx of tourists and quality visitors.
